mikes midlife round the world in 96 days

After arriving at bangkok int airport around 3pm i was in a dilemma as to where to go.back to cabodia was top as it is the cheapest place so far i have been too ,but had no photo for my visa and airport had no facilities to take one.Looking at departures i enquired about a few islands in thailand and the best deal was here so off i flew 3 hrs later.
Now ive been here for 5 days,its time to move on again.Days have been spent lazing on beach and drinking at night,and eating well.
After the last 3 weeks in city destinations i looked forward to chilling however its got slightly boring now,even though i am off to more beaches tommorrow in Phuket,i suppose i may as well do the islands and beaches of thailand since i am here now.

We arrived about 8.30 am and headed to khao san road to find accomodation..after all the reports ive read it was not as bad i expected. we stayed in hotel for one night,2 days expierincing the culture,bargains,food,people watching,then caught our train to Chaing Mai that night,another 13 hr trip,however im used to that now..yeah im looking forward to my return visit to bankok in about 2 mths.
