Still unwell i'm now back at khaosan rd and unfortunately my original visa to india had expired and minimum time for new visa is 5 working days which i was not prepared to wait.So now i have gave up my original flights and purchased flights home in 2 days.
I still have a bad case of travellers diahorea and fatigue,exhausten and lack of motivation and now look forward to going home.And the continuous touts and street sellers grabbing me and stopping me from walking along and with the tuk tuk drivers/taxi drivers trying for buisness also,my attitude to them is very thin and soon someone will

Well i was eager to return here again as i enjoyed the people,culture and food last time.. This time the heat was unbearable for me,although the rainstorms at night were fun.
Unfortunately i picked up a nasty bug and my time spent was limited to my bed in the hotel with a few quick outings to internet cafe and cold drinks.I'm not sure if this was related to a trip with locals to west barei lake and swimming in the water or that nights drinking session and food from a street stall.
So a bad end to my return to cambodia and made me decide my travelling time is at an exhausting end after 6 mth and to head back to bangkok to rearrange my scheduled flights.

I bypassed Pattong and headed to karon beach which is real nice and quiet being low season.Found a good hotel and got over 60% discount on room for 3 nights,paying similar to shabby guest houses above bars.
Not many decent bars here,mostly girlbars however they do leave you alone if you only want drink not company.I have yet to venture in Pattong for some nightlife,however funds are running low so maybe not,temptation is a deadly sin.
The beach here is so clean,sand nice and soft,however the sea is quite rough but still ok for trying to swim in even though the waves are sometimes over my height reaching about 8 ft high.Its fun watching and preparing yourself for them heading at you.

After arriving at bangkok int airport around 3pm i was in a dilemma as to where to go.back to cabodia was top as it is the cheapest place so far i have been too ,but had no photo for my visa and airport had no facilities to take one.Looking at departures i enquired about a few islands in thailand and the best deal was here so off i flew 3 hrs later.
Now ive been here for 5 days,its time to move on again.Days have been spent lazing on beach and drinking at night,and eating well.
After the last 3 weeks in city destinations i looked forward to chilling however its got slightly boring now,even though i am off to more beaches tommorrow in Phuket,i suppose i may as well do the islands and beaches of thailand since i am here now.

Arrived around 11.30pm at Nathan road,i think the main area in Kowloon for travellers.From the outside Chungking Mansions looks a shabby block of around 6 towers,plenty of shady characters outside and inside,however all the time i felt safe.I think i struck it lucky with my hotel,basically most have been one apartment turned into maybe 5 or 6 small rooms.
My first day i decided to stroll around the kowloon area,camr across the nice kowloon park and being sunday it was full of indonesians maids as it is their day off and many gather here to meet,eat and drink.On the island Victoria park and statue square areas have the Phillipino maids doing the same.
Second day was a hop on the star ferry to hong kong island and a tram ride up to the peak for the views.A stroll around and with the heat being too much i needed to head back to kowllon for a deserved rest,and cool shower.Evening was spent watching the world famous laser show at 8pm,but it was really a big let down.
Unfortunately my budget is low now and i had to not spend even though many bargains in shops,markets and especially electrical goods.Sigh!!!!!
